Mila Villasana
Mila Villasana is a Mexican illustrator and designer currently residing in San Miguel de Allende, a quirky town in the heart of México known as a mecca for artists worldwide. She was born in Cuernavaca, Morelos in 1989 and spent her early years in Taxco, Guerrero. Raised in the green mountain air and liberal, progressive atmosphere of Burlington, Vermont, she harnessed a love of art, nature, and eco-friendly practices. After living in the United States for over 10 years, her migratory status limited her opportunities to pursue higher education within the country. She returned to her native country of Mexico in 2009. With an interest in cinema, sculpting, and visual technology, she continues to develop her skills as an illustrator and to pursue her studies in 2D, stop motion and 3D animation.
